Every year for the past about 20 years, the Kitchener Blues Fest has entertained so many with amazing music!

The Kitchener Blues Fest has been bringing in world class acts for years and has brought up many local acts!

The festival brings in approximately 300,000 people every year for the past 5 years in a row!

Grammy award winners, Juno award winners all have been to the festival and 3 out of the 4 days are free! The fundraiser show on the Thursday keeps the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all free!

This is a brand new blog that and I am glad I can be the driver of this journey and I hope you will join me on this journey! My name is Alex Powers, I am 24 years old and I have been playing guitar for 17 years! I play semi-professionally. I had the honour of playing in Mississippi at a blues festival and have been playing the bars in the Waterloo Region for a few years now. Guitar and music is a very strong passion for me and I love to be able to entertain people!
